Weinberg, Arthur von

Born in Frankfurt am Main in 1860, studied physics, chemistry, mathematics, and classical philology, began working for Cassella in 1883, as of 1925 member of I.G. Farben supervisory board, patron of the arts, forced to resign all his functions by the anti-Semitic legislation of 1938, deported in 1942 to Theresienstadt, where he died in 1943.
